INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION
Sfogato Stage
The name of the Competition “Sfogato Stage” refers in the first part to the name of the Sfogato Music & Arts Society as the Organizer, in the second part to the used as a musical term by Fryderyk Chopin in the Barcarolle in F sharp major Op. 60.
The term stage (in English) or the internship (in French and Italian) reflects the objectives of the project.

The 4th International Sfogato Stage Music Competition takes place as part of the 16th International Sfogato Music & Arts Festival under the honorary patronage of:
Minister of Culture and National Heritage – Marta Cienkowska
Marshal of the Małopolska Region – Łukasz Smółka
Mayor of the City of Krakow – Aleksander Miszalski
Metropolitan Archbishop of Krakow – Abp Marek Jędraszewski / Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś
The Competition is addressed to pupils, students and professional musicians studying at all levels of music education, as well as those who have already completed their musical studies in the following classes: piano, harpsichord, organ, violin, viola, cello, double bass, wind instruments, singing, chamber ensembles.
Applications should be sent by December 12, 2025 using the online form on the Competition Website www.sfogatostage.com. The form should contain a link to the video previously uploaded to the YouTube platform as a non-public video. The specifications of the recording and the manner in which it should be uploaded to the YouTube platform are described in Appecndix 1 to these Regulations.
The winners of the Sfogato Stage Music Competition will have the opportunity to participate in the Concert in Berlin (April 2026).
